About

About Me

Welcome to my website and thank you for your interest in my practice.

I have been practicing clinical psychology for 35 years, working with children, teenagers, adults, and families. I was awarded my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology-Berkeley, in 1989 and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Chestnut Lodge Hospital in Maryland.

I have extensive experience treating individuals struggling with a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other disorders, with a particular focus on Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). In recent years, I have immersed myself in a relatively new approach to OCD called I-CBT (Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). Using this approach, I have had the privilege of helping my clients, many of whom had limited success in prior OCD treatment, finally achieve freedom from this distressing disorder. When indicated I also use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My style is warm, inviting, and collaborative.

Please note that my practice is fully remote at this time.
